How to use
From the box to your first session

Charge
Charge the pad fully before first use with the supplied dual USB-C cable.

Dry hair
Make sure your scalp and hair are completely dry. The cap is used on clean, dry hair only.

Fit
Put the cap on and adjust the Velcro strap at the back until it fits snugly. The pad is already inside and held by magnets — no assembly.

Power on
Press and hold the control button for 1.5 seconds. One beep means the cap is on, in Mode 1.

Mode 2
For Mode 2, short-press the button once. The blue light turns on.

Twelve minutes
The session runs 12 minutes and ends automatically with two beeps.

Use every other day for 16 consecutive weeks.
First-time users should complete the light sensitivity test described in the User Manual before their first full session.

How is this different from other hair caps?
Most caps make you choose between laser or LED. PlasmaGLO™ Hair+ Cap combines both in one cordless system: 300 laser diodes at 680 nm, 140 red LED light points at 625 nm and 655 nm, and 60 blue LEDs at 422 nm in a separate second mode.
Why does Hair+ Cap use both laser and LED light sources?
Mode 1 combines 300 laser diodes at 680 nm with 140 red LED light points at 625 nm and 655 nm, so you do not have to choose an all-laser or all-LED device.
How long is a session?
Twelve minutes. The cap ends the session automatically and signals with two beeps.
How often should I use it?
Every other day for 16 consecutive weeks. Using it more often than that is not recommended.
What is the difference between Mode 1 and Mode 2?
Mode 1 is Laser + Red Light: 680 nm laser with 625 nm and 655 nm red LED. Mode 2 is Blue Light: 60 LEDs at 422 nm, with no laser emitted.
Why do the lasers start 30 seconds after I turn it on?
It is an eye-safety delay. In Mode 1 the lasers activate automatically 30 seconds after power-on, giving you time to put the cap on your head first. Never look into the inside of the pad while it is powered on.
Is it FDA-cleared?
Yes. PlasmaGLO™ Hair+ Cap is FDA-cleared for the treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia in men with Norwood-Hamilton classifications IIa–V and in women with Ludwig-Savin I-1 to I-4, II-1, II-2 or frontal patterns, in Fitzpatrick Skin Types I–IV.
Is it cordless?
Yes. The pad has a built-in rechargeable battery and charges over USB-C in 3 to 4 hours. You do not need to be plugged in during a session.
How do I charge it?
Charge the pad fully before first use with the supplied dual USB-C cable. A full charge takes 3 to 4 hours. The adapter is not included (5 V / 2 A).
Can I share it with my partner?
No. This is a single-user device and should not be shared.
Can I use it on wet hair?
No. Hair and scalp must be completely dry before every session. Follow the User Manual for all preparation and safety instructions.
How do I clean it?
Turn the device off, then spot-clean the pad with a clean cotton cloth lightly dampened with cold water. Stubborn stains can be removed with 70% alcohol. Never immerse the device, and never use acetone, solvents or abrasive cleaners. Allow it to air dry.
Who should not use it?
Anyone under 22, anyone who is pregnant or preparing for pregnancy, and anyone with the contraindications listed in Important Safety Information above. If you are unsure, speak to your physician first.

Indications for use
The PlasmaGLO™ Hair+ Cap (Model: ZLD-500C) is indicated for the treatment of Androgenetic Alopecia and hair growth promotion in males with Norwood-Hamilton Classifications IIa–V and Fitzpatrick Skin Types I–IV, and in females with Ludwig-Savin Scale I-1 to I-4, II-1, II-2, or frontal patterns and Fitzpatrick Skin Types I–IV.
Important safety information
Do not use this device if any of the following apply:
- You are under 22.
- You are pregnant or preparing for pregnancy.
- You have a history of light-triggered seizures, or light-induced headaches or migraines.
- You have photosensitivity, or have had adverse reactions to laser, red or blue light.
- You take photosensitizing medication (such as tetracyclines, porphyrins, chemotherapy drugs or certain antidepressants).
- You have lupus erythematosus, photosensitive eczema, albinism or another light-reactive systemic skin disorder.
- You have active wounds, bleeding lesions, crusts, infection, inflammation or broken skin in the treatment area.
- You have been diagnosed with skin cancer, malignant tumours or cancerous lesions on the scalp, head or neck.
Warnings
- This device emits laser and LED light. Do not use over the eyes or eyelids, and do not look directly into the light sources while it is operating.
- For scalp use on the head only. Do not use on any other body region.
- Never direct the light sources toward another person’s eyes.
- This is a single-user device. Do not share it.
- Consult your clinician before use if you take oral steroids or NSAIDs, or have received scalp steroid injections in the last 6 months.
- Additional clinical evaluation is recommended for users with severe systemic disease, implanted cardiac devices or metal cranial implants.
- Mild redness during or after treatment is expected and typically subsides within 1 hour. Stop use and consult your physician if discomfort, skin discoloration or other concerns develop.
